13 FRIGHTS, Dog Ear Publishing, 2006.
13 FRIGHTS is a collection of thirteen previously published horror stories from various print and electronic publications. I think it is a nice blend of horror themes, covering everything from silent horror to splatterpunk. A couple of the stories in the book have been totally overhauled and re-written from how they originally appeared. It is available through most of the major on-line booksellers.
The stories include: “Deadlines”
“Rosemary’s Perfect Man”
“Clyde”
“The Drive-in Slasher” (re-written)
“Pecking Order”
“Jack Fright”
“Still Life”
“Visit to Grandma’s”
“Pickford’s Well”
“Big Hairy’s Last Stand”
“Demon Con”
“The Room”
“Scream Queen” (re-written completely)
BIJOU OF THE DEAD, Although it is the second novel I have written, it will actually be the first to see print. As the title suggests, we got rambunctious zombie mayhem at a grand old movie palace. It is my intention to have this book published in 2007. Watch for updates.
THE DRIVE-IN THAT DRIPPED BLOOD, Wasteland Press, 2006.
This 60 page chapbook is a re-written, tighter version of my slasher story of the same name that was originally published on the Dream Passage web site in 2003. It is available through most of the major on-line booksellers. It has thus far been very well received, proving that people still enjoy a good hack ‘n slash story once in a while.
THE CLINIC, Sapphire Publishing, 2007.
This chapbook is an original, never before published story concerning a DUI rehab clinic. It is a gory little shocker that gets right to the good stuff fast. It is available now and you can order it from www.shocklines.com or www.bloodmoonrisingmagazine.com.
INVASION OF THE DRIVE-IN HORROR FLICKS, Atomic Drive-in Publication, 1999.
This self-published review book is re-printed elsewhere on the website.
INVASION OF THE DRIVE-IN SCI-FI FLICKS, Atomic Drive-in Publication, 1999.
The self-published follow-up. As with the first, the second book is re-printed elsewhere on the website.
LIGHTS, CAMERA, TRIVIA, Raging Thunder Publications, 2001, Edited by Philip Cerreta.
Lights, Camera, Trivia is an ever-progressing project. The first edition released covered only Horror Film trivia. That edition was later pulled and re-edited into two separate volumes. They were followed by two volumes of Science Fiction Film trivia. I contributed to each of the four published editions. The separate volumes are as follows.
VOLUME ONE: CLASSIC HORROR, 2001- contributed to various sections as well as the specific films- The Beyond (1981), The Conqueror Worm (1968), Hell Night (1981), The Howling (1980), Masque of the Red Death (1964), Suspiria (1977), The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
VOLUME TWO: CLASSIC HORROR, 2001- contributed to various sections as well as the specific films- Dead Alive (1992), Halloween: H20 (1998), I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997), Innocent Blood (1992), Return of the Living Dead III (1993)
VOLUME THREE: CLASSIC SCIENCE FICTION, 2001- contributed to various sections as well as the specific films- The Abyss (1989), Alien 3 (1992), Armageddon (1998), Lifeforce (1985), Mars Attacks (1996), Species 2 (1998)
VOLUME FOUR: SCIENCE FICTION AND FANTASY, 2001- contributed to various sections as well as the specific films- Army of Darkness (1993), Casper (1995), Dark City (1998), Escape From New York (1981), Godzilla: King of the Monsters (1956), The Matrix (1999), The Mummy (1999), The Road Warrior (1982), Robocop II (1990)
A PLACE OF DREAMS AND NIGHTMARES, Dream Passage Publishing Group, 2004, Edited by Drew Morrissey.
This is my first collection of short stories, all culled from the Dream Passage website. It covers various genres, including horror, science-fiction, fantasy and romance stories. It contains a new, never before published story entitled “Dr. Blood’s Chill-O-Rama Festival of Fright”. This is only half of the original book that Drew and I put together. Sadly, a second volume will never happen. (Stories that were selected for Volume Two will undoubtedly appear in future collections.)
The stories include: “They Spawn”
“Footprints in the Sand”
“The Interview”
“Creature, Creator”
“Bad Fairies”
“House by the Cemetery”
“Jacob and Larry”
“Lost”
“A Most Wonderful Gift”
“Martians Attack the Atomic Drive-in”
“Treats”
“Wizard’s Tears”
“The Night Before”
“Dr. Blood’s Chill-O-Rama Festival of Fright”
STRANGE TALES, Atomic Drive-in Publication, 2005.
This is a self-published chap book I put together that collected five of my previously published short stories. Limited to 50 copies, I had them printed up to help promote my work when I attended the October ’05 Con*Stellation XXIV: Lepus Convention. (A couple of these stories will no doubt appear in future collections.) Anyone interested in obtaining a copy can just email me through the site. Tell me who you are and include your mailing info and I’ll send you a copy. There is only a handful left.
The stories include: “From the Rain”
“Witch Hunt”
“An Easy Life”
“Butterflies”
“Pumpkin Carving”
